Uniik Design was founded in 2013 with the focus on designing unique and timeless interior and exterior designs for residential and commercial spaces. People spend an average of 87% of their life indoors and we believe these indoor spaces should be designed with purpose. Our mission is to design spaces that improve your quality of life. We believe interiors should reflect your personality, lifestyle, or brand.
Throughout the years, we have experienced that most clients feel overwhelmed when it comes to a renovation or a new build and our goal is to eliminate that as much as possible. With 9 years of full experience in the industry, we have custom built a specific process for you to follow so you feel 100% confident and comfortable. We collaborate with you and take care of everything from vision to move in day!
Over the 9 years we have expanded our team from a single designer to a larger team of unique visionaries who work across all design styles. We are deeply passionate, driven to enhance and transform spaces to fit your personality, lifestyles, or brand.

Maria Rojas
Principal Interior Designer BAID
Maria Rojas is from the beautiful country of Venezuela. In 2000, Maria and her family moved to Canada in search of a better future and quality of life. Her passion for art and architecture inspired her to pursue a career in Interior Design. In 2011, Maria graduated from the Bachelor of Applied Interior Design program at Mount Royal University.
Building on her great passion for design she established Uniik Design in 2013, an interior design firm that specializes in all facets of residential and commercial design. She loves collaborating with clients to bring their dream spaces to life. Maria pushes the boundaries of design and focuses on every detail of the client experience. Her mission is to provide clients with a smooth and efficient process that results in unique, timeless, and functional designs that improve their quality of life.
Aleksandra Grancharova
Interior Designer BAID
Originally from Bulgaria, Aleks came to Canada with one goal, taking over the world one design project at a time. In 2017, she graduated from the Bachelor of Applied Interior Design program at Mount Royal University. She has a great passion for interior design, she loves collaborating with clients and designing spaces that are not only beautiful but functional. She joined Uniik in March of 2019 and has been a great addition to the team. Being a go getter is what she lives for and will not stop until the job is perfected.
Maria Sebastian
Interior Designer MID
Maria is our colleague from Spain, she graduated from the Bachelor of Industrial and Product Design at Universitat Politècnica de València and developed her graduation project at Technische Universiteit Delft, in the Netherlands. Later, she specialized in her passion doing a Master Degree in Interior Design and Architecture from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
María loves working in every stage of the design process, from the concept to the definition of the last details. She finds inspiration in any aspect of life: art, nature, travelling, gastronomy or books. Maria tries to get to know her clients in depth to have the best results with her projects and because she believes this is the most beautiful part of her job.
Mr. Moomoo
Creative Consultant
Mr. Moomoo is our furry creative consultant! Our office wouldn’t be the same without him. He loves to greet our clients when they come to our beautiful office space and make them feel welcomed. He is a daily reminder of how we love to create a fun design environment for both our clients and our team.
