This luxury mountain retreat received a transformative glow-up, becoming a cozy and modern sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Rockies. Thoughtfully renovated with love and intention, every element of the home now reflects warmth, comfort, and elevated design. We focused primarily on the main floor, beginning with a complete reconfiguration of the entryway to create a more inviting, open flow that naturally leads into the expanded kitchen. The kitchen itself was fully overhauled, now featuring a bold black island as the focal point, complemented by warm wood lower cabinets and crisp white uppers; an elegant combination that balances contrast with cohesion. For the backsplash, we selected a classic white herringbone tile that adds texture, dimension, and timeless appeal.

To further enhance the space, mid-tone hardwood flooring was installed throughout the main level, grounding the home in warmth and character. One of the standout architectural upgrades was the addition of black ceiling beams, which replaced the previously flat ceiling to introduce visual depth and a striking structural element that ties the entire space together. The result is a harmonious blend of modern style and rustic charm—perfectly suited to its mountain setting.

She had previously provides plans for two of our bathrooms here, both of which turned out magnificently. Last year she completely redesigned the lower floor of the Calgary bungalow and the results of the renovations were equally as amazing.
